Why do slotted holes appear round on the PCB footprint I downloaded in Allegro?

All SnapEDA parts  have slots represented in the following layer: 

Class: Board Geometry
Subclass: NCROUTE_PATH

When all the layers are sent in the Gerbers to the PCB manufacturers, the slots will be present in this layer that corresponds to the cut-outs in the board.
