To be able to import SnapEDA libraries to Easy-PC, you may need to have an Eagle tool and convert the *.lbr file to the Intermediate format *.eil which Easy-PC supports. If you don't have Eagle, you can download it here for free.

To convert the *.lbr to *.eil:

  1. Download the Eagle *.lbr file
  2. Open the Eagle *.lbr file
  3. Go to the Easy-PC directory located here(C:\Program Files (x86)\Number One Systems\Easy-PC Demo\EagleULP).
  4. Run the LibrarytoIntermediate.ulp from the directory or the download the zip file here which contains the same file to run.
  5. Save the new file anywhere and send it to the user. The format should be *.eil

FAQ:

Q: The *.lbr file is supported by Easy-PC for import, why not use that instead of having to convert it to *.eil format?

A: Yes, the *.lbr file can be used to import directly to Easy-PC. However, we found out that there are some issues with the library when imported. Having it converted to *.eil format and import it to Easy-PC results to much more accurate library.
